ODESSA, TX – Canary, LLC of Denver, Colo., the nation’s largest independent wellhead company, today announced the acquisition of American Wellhead, LLC, a wellhead sales and service company for the Permian Basin and New Mexico. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Canary, LLC, with revenue north $100 million, has completed more than a dozen acquisitions since 2007. Defined by an aggressive acquisition strategy, Canary is committed to building long-term value in companies with a solid performance history through a focus on customer service and innovation. Canary is continuing its rapid portfolio expansion with the acquisition of American Wellhead.
“Our national customers wanted a location in the Permian Basin, which currently represents almost 25 percent of the U.S. oilfield,” Eberhart said. “The Permian is shifting from vertical to horizontal drilling, and that kind of unconventional drilling is right in our wheelhouse. We have a growth strategy and plan to expand the facility. We will be bringing in slickline production services.”
Drawing from almost 40 years of wellhead experience, David Walden began American Wellhead to rent and install hydraulic fracturing equipment for the Permian Basin’s oil industry. American Wellhead services include wellhead sales and installation, frac stack rental and installation, field service and repair on valves and wellhead, field greasing of production and fracking equipment.
