Watford City, ND – Frontier Energy Group, Inc., parent company of Frontier Wellhead & Supply, L.L.C. has acquired Watford City’s Hanson Hot Oil Service, Inc., the largest hot oil company in the Williston Basin, creating one of the largest privately owned oilfield services company in North Dakota. Both companies will operate out of Frontier Wellhead’s office in Watford City, ND. In addition, new shops along with Hanson’s shops in Dickinson, New Town, Williston, & Sidney, MT joining as Frontier satellite locations.
Hanson Hot Oil began Valentine’s Day 1984 with a single truck in Watford City, ND. Now years later as truck twenty-one gets ready for service, Hanson Hot Oil, continues to provide the same hot oil service with each unit’s seven million B.T.U. heaters or their three on-board pumps. Hanson Hot Oil is considered one of the top hot oil companies in the Bakken.

In the near term, customers can expect to interact with each company as they always have. The company expects that customers will begin to see a more unified set of services beginning in Spring 2011, as the company integrates key marketing activities.
